And now, dear readers, let us have a special round of applause for our show. "This Is Your Blogger Life!"
Whoo-Yeah!
Today’s celebration marks my 100th Post. It’s been a long and arduous journey. A couple of weeks ago, I wasn’t sure I would still be here blogging or surfing the Internet or just checking out my email. Life has settled down a bit for me from those hectic days, although I have yet to find the stability or contentment I desire. I’m still here, taking each day at a time like all the rest of the people on this world. I am the cat who has her paws clutching the clothesline with the words, "Hang in there, baby!" on the poster. I’m hanging in there.
And so is everyone else, it seems. I never imagined the amount of emotional support I would get. The words of encouragement . . . the emails . . . the tank - it has been an incredible few weeks to see so many people whom I have never personally met as they offer their kindness to me. I’ve even got misty-eyed about it (really) with your comments as I imagined blowing things up with my heavy armored fighting vehicle when it comes in the mail (I’m still waiting, Suldog, for the bang-bang toy! I can’t think of anything better to give an off-center person with an evil streak who is slightly depressed.)
Onward with the celebration! To commemorate this day, I would like to take the opportunity to not just celebrate my 100th post but everyone who has taken the time out from their busy day to visit this boring place and boost my sagging spirits with their comments. That’s right! A celebration isn’t special unless you share it with others. And I can’t think of a better way to reminisce than to remind all of my readers about their 100th post, or close to their 100th post, or 50th in case you are still new to this blogging world, or just any random post that I feel like putting on my blog.
So, without further ado, THIS IS YOUR BLOGGER LIFE, READERS! I have put everyone’s entries in alphabetical order by your blog name so as not to play favorites. In my book, all of you are my favorites. Please visit each other, share in the laughs, raise a cup of your brew, and read what makes life special: making new friendships.

Thank You, Everyone! There is indeed greatness among men and women, and I have met (and I am still meeting some great people!)
YOU SO TOTALLY ROOOCK!
Oh my goodness! You cutie! What a great idea for a 100th post. I must admit I didn't pay attention to which post was my 100th, and now I know! How fitting that I'm reading this on the day I finished writing another book, and my 100th is about finishing the last book I wrote, haha.
ReplyDeleteYou keep hanging on that clothesline, and I hope to see some more post from you in the future. Happy 100th post!

Yay for 100!!!! and awwww thanks for posting about my 100th post.
ReplyDeleteUm and....this place is not boring at all..after all..why would we visit?..
Now you have to give us 100 more wink wink ;) ;)
You are SUCH a sweetie.. I can only imagine how long you spent sifting through blog pages, searching for specific posts.
ReplyDeleteWith all these celebratory posts, it's like a big birthday party. Truly, I hope all of your wishes come true.
Thank you. :)
(I want some of what Sandra's having!)
You are really something special, you know that? The amount of time you must have spent doing this! I'm utterly flabbergasted.
ReplyDelete(I also like that you gave me a chance to use that word. It's not often I get the chance, and it's one of my favorites.)
THANK YOU! And congratulations!
I guess everyone could tell I was up to something sneaky with the sparity of comments I left on all your blogs for the past few days. It didn't help that I was out of town on Saturday. It was fun, really, going into the archives and reading things I might have missed. I never thought of it as being time wasted by visiting your past posts.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations one and all! I hope I brought good memories to everyone. Since it seems someone got into the brew a little early, I'm going to be sitting back and enjoying myself for the rest of the week.
Michele? As if I don't misspell things here and she's apologizing after I hacked up her name before. Hee-hee! I have an interesting story to tell about a second-grade teacher who deliberately misspelled my name just to tick me off.
That's for another day.
thx sandra... cheers, to all! *hic*
ReplyDeleteDear Surly (?) Writer,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post and thanks for leaving your sweet message on my blog.
All the best,
Tena
Tena: Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, dear Michelle, on your 100th post! Hang in there, and never forget: you are a unique person and VERY talented...
ReplyDeleteLike all the others have said: What a brilliant idea for a 100th post! And so thoughtful of your admirers, too! I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this, Michelle... you are truly a gem among bloggers.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Number 100!!
mlh" I'm so glad my 100th post wasn't a "Why I Stopped" post or one with an "F" bomb in the title.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if you're planning on not blogging anymore?
I've been attending a big murder trial for days - and it's really put the blog thing in perspective.
Thanks Buck and Brenda for stopping by and giving your good cheer!
ReplyDeleteJosephine: Things were really up in the air for me before. It was not only possible that I would stop blogging, but stop Internet everything. My life was a bona fide mess.
Everything has settled down now, and with all the emotional support I have been getting from people (a lot of bloggers) I've been able to cope. I've also managed my time where I can still do a little blogging. So I'm still sticking around for now.
good, you'll get to 101 in no time, then! ;) lol
ReplyDeletelaughingwolf: I'm shooting for the stars. Maybe even 5000 posts.
