The 10 lucky people are:
***********************
10: I like twist endings to books and movies. The weirder . . . the better.

9: I have a brother who is 5 years older than me.

8: I have a sister who is 6 years older than me.

7: When I was a kid, I hated to get my toenails clipped. My mother had to hold me down. It wasn’t the fact that I was afraid of clippers. It was just something fun (as in annoying) to do during my childhood.

6: It’s been over 3 years since I sketched something. I’m an untrained artist.

5: I’m currently working on a special writing project with the help of a dear friend. My memoir.

4: I’m afraid of heights, mostly elevators and second floor malls. I had dreams of being pushed over the railing or having the cable snap.

3: I enjoy watching Japanese Anime movies not only because of the involved plot, but also for the artistry.

2: The neighbor’s German Shepherd bit me when I was 8.

1: Once, I almost got into a fist fight with my brother’s neighbor over something HE said that was unrelated to me. Worse, this woman once beat up a girl scout mother and had to be police escorted from a hair salon.

Here’s my list of the 10 things true about me that other people might not know.

5. Those 10 bloggers should link back to the blog that awarded them.

4. Those 10 bloggers all have to be notified they have been given this award.

3. The recipient has to pass along this prestigious award to 10 more bloggers.

2. The recipient has to tell 10 true things about themselves in their blog that no one else knows.

1. “The Honest Scrap” award is not one to hold all to your self but it must be shared!

Here are the rules in accepting this award:

I was given an award by Funny Girl from “Funny Girl Goes Blog.” Thank you. I appreciate this award. Yet I wanted to do something different with the acceptance of it - something that screams, “OH, GAWD! Please get this woman a straitjacket and pack her up in the rubber room.” So I’m making this entire blog post backward. Enjoy!

  9. Thats so original and funny. Backwards post. Of course, if you really wanted to do it backwards, you would force everyone to read it through a mirror :) Anyway, thanks for the award and congrats on receiving it yourself. Nice job.

  10. Aw, shucks, Michelle. . .

    I'm honored. I really am.

I almost never do memes, and please don't think I'm being surly (HAH! Get it? 'surly'? 'Cuz, like, your blog is called 'The Surly Writer'? Sometimes I slay myself. . .) if I don't get around to it. . .

Until I do, I'm hoping you will please understand. . . (HAH! 'Michelle' lyrics, get it?)

And here is a little somethin'-somethin' to tide you over in the meantime. . . (aside from being 3.5 years old, it's still pretty much all good). . .

  11. Eric: I considered writing it completely backward. But I didn't want to be responsible for property damage in case people read my blog at work and decided to rip out the company mirrors in restrooms.

Desmond: Usually, I skip out on them too. Besides, I think that post you linked too more than fulfils the rules of the meme.

  13. You can't see me right now, but I'm mooning you.

Oh, wait a minute... Since you did the post backwards, I wanted to be clever and do something backwards, too. So, actually, I'm just smiling broadly. Sorry!
