Yeah, we've gone over this already. Blog. Hiatus. So, why this post?
Well, Laughingwolf from Paws and Reflect dropped me the 411 about a writing contest hosted by Jason from Clarity of Night. At first, I shrugged it off while thinking I wouldn't have any time to enter since the deadline is July 15. Then two things stuck in my brain.
WRITING . . . CONTEST . . .
Yeah, like I'm going to walk away from a writing challenge. In my dreams, literally. I went to sleep and had the whole story in my head when I woke up the next day.
My entry is #87 "Seeking a Deadly Foray." Drop on over and give a read if you're interested.
Hey! Going check out your entry now. And good luck!!
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment over there, MDGF. Nice!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you are somethin' else. The descriptions you crafted there, the twists and turns you worked up, it was all amazing to read through. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHope to stay on the good side of the ledger.

Will go check it out! good to see you back!
ReplyDeleteAngie, Suldog, Eric: Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCoach O: You are always on the good side of the ledger here!
Chris: Not exactly back yet. Just hanging.
Yeah, why pass up a writing contest that's free! I remember reading your story. Good job.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be waiting for you to return, my dear. :-)
ReplyDeleteJr's Thumbprints: Why pass up any writing contest? Even if it's pricey and you can't enter, at least challenge yourself and write something for your very own reading. Practice... practice... practice! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments about my entry!
ReplyDeleteDH: I'll be back when I can. Thanks!
hey michelle, jason will post some results this coming thursday, readers' choice winners :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the head's up, wolfie! :-)
ReplyDeleteI will be by there - good luck!
ReplyDeleteI lost, Kathryn. Not unexpected. I have to update with a new post.
